Small world

Artist Statement:

My inspiration behind my artwork is the fact that that I think globes are cool because it took a lot of work and science to figure out how the earth looks like.

The process of making this piece was neither difficult nor easy because it was hard to draw out the contour lines with pencil but tracing it with pen and ink was easy.

Chilis

Artist Statement:
The inspiration behind my piece is Latin culture and how its a part of my day to day life.

The process involved with my piece involved lightly mapping out the chili's and the plate and then adding light colors first to later cover it with darker colors so that highlights could be visible.

Dream coast

Artist Statement:

My inspiration behind this piece is that this bay is located in my parents native country and also the beach conveys a tone of happiness and relaxation thus why I created this piece.

The process behind this piece involved me first adding the background colors and then I added small details in the boats and surfboards. After this, I finished by painting the palm trees.

Jesse Rutherford

My inspiration for this piece was modern musical culture as the model is a modern-day musician who resembles a certain rebellious type culture.

The process of creating this piece was both equally difficult as it was easy. I first had to map out the models features and later darken his features to a certain degree. I found it most difficult to create the model's eyes and shade in the correct places on his face. After this, the process became much easier as I had to draw his hair which I was comfortable doing and then I had completed it.

The wolf

My inspiration for this piece was the fact that one of my favorite animals are wolves and also I don't like things being simple which is why I chose this picture since it is complicated to an extent and fits the rubric.

The process of this piece involved me having to map the picture out and afterward complete the normal half of the wolfs face and then draw the mechanical side of the wolf which was the most complicated.

Forest fire

My inspiration behind this peice was the recent California fires and how we cause them and yet we try and stop them.

The process behind the making of this piece started with me mapping out the outline of the fire. Afterwards i painted the fire and the trees. To finish it off i painted the fireplace with trash around it.
